Images modified with short captions have become a familiar form of online visual communication. Their meaning often depends less on factual documentation and more on the relationship between the original photograph and the newly introduced text.
As a result, the image works simultaneously as maritime imagery and visual humor. The impressive scale of the carrier attracts attention first, while the unexpected caption changes the tone and gives the photograph an unmistakably playful character.
